Dec
This evening, Bridges Gallery had the honour of opening a very special exhibition – Harmony in Difference, presenting the work of two exceptional artists who are especially dear both to us and to Lovech – Yulian Yordanov and Anna Tikhonova-Yordanova.
With this exhibition, we wished to mark Yulian Yordanov's upcoming milestone birthday by presenting his work once again in his hometown, the place where his artistic journey began.
It was a true joy for us to see the gallery filled with people who appreciate, feel and are moved by art of lasting value. Thank you to everyone who honoured Yulian Yordanov and Anna Tikhonova-Yordanova and shared this beautiful and emotional evening with us.
We express our sincere gratitude to Deputy Minister of Culture Associate Professor Dr Todor Chobanov and Lovech Regional Governor Dora Stoyanova for the congratulatory messages they sent to the two artists.
Special thanks also go to Lovech Mayor Stratsimir Petkov, who personally attended the exhibition opening and presented Yulian Yordanov with the Badge of Honour of Lovech Municipality – deserved recognition of his exceptional contribution to Bulgarian fine art and of the distinction with which he has represented Lovech in Bulgaria and around the world.
This evening was a celebration of art, friendship and the life of the spirit – an evening that will remain in our hearts.
