In the heart of lilac-filled Lovech
Bridges Gallery
Bridges Gallery was founded in Lovech in February 2025 with a clear vision: to create a meeting place — between artists and audiences, tradition and contemporary art, people and emotion.
Located in the Baroque Houses at 17 Targovska Street, opposite the road to the Covered Bridge, the gallery is a natural part of the city’s lively rhythm. Here, art does not remain behind glass — it is part of everyday life.
Our beginning
From the outset, Bridges has developed as an active exhibition space. Every month we present a new artist or maker with a distinctive style and point of view.
We work mainly with artists from Lovech and the surrounding region, as well as creators from across Bulgaria. We believe that quality art should be accessible and close to people.
What you will find here
The gallery offers a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, icons and decorative works. Every piece has its own story, artist and character.
Visitors are welcome to browse at their own pace, ask questions and receive personal advice and time to choose. Part of our work is helping every artwork find its home.
A place to meet
Bridges is more than a place to buy art. It is a setting for conversations, exhibition openings, meetings with artists and cultural events.
Over time, the gallery has become a small but active cultural centre in the city — a place where art is always alive, not only on special occasions.
Looking ahead
We are developing the gallery as a hybrid space — a physical gallery and an online catalogue that enables the works to reach a wider audience.
Our aim is simple:
for art to be a natural part of life — accessible, vibrant and shared.
