Small Single Candle Holder – Iliycho Aleksiev | Ceramic and Hand-Forged Iron

The “Small Single Candle Holder” is an original work by Iliycho Aleksiev that transforms an everyday object into a small sculpture with character and history. Combining ceramic and metal, it evokes traditional craft, handwork and enduring beauty.

The domed ceramic form is enriched with relief decoration and a harmonious palette. Deep red glaze emphasises the engraved ornament, while a warm yellow accent around the candle socket suggests light even before the flame is lit. An elegant metal handle completes the composition and creates a refined contrast between the two materials.

Every line and textured detail reflects careful craftsmanship. The shape recalls an ancient ritual vessel, reinterpreted with a contemporary sculptural sensibility so that the piece remains both functional and artistic.

At 18 × 17 × 14 cm, the candle holder is a warm accent for a home, country house or creative space. Whether used for a candle or displayed as an art object, it brings authenticity and atmosphere to its surroundings.
