Let light shine through your soul! Making lamps with Nikolay Tabakov.

At this creative gathering, you will have the opportunity to create your own lamp – a unique, handmade piece shaped by your personal design, feeling and inspiration.

A wonderful personal gift that brings light and warmth, or a surprise for someone you love!
The creator of the idea, Niki Tabakov, has prepared the metal frames and will guide you through the making process.
We will work with Nepalese organic papers containing embedded dried plants, along with all the necessary materials: electrical fittings, light bulbs and tools.

Nikolay Tabakov is a freelance artist, musician, painter and gallerist. He shares the story behind the lamps:
"I was inspired by Moroccan leather lamps, and that is how Nikolay Tabakov's Lamps came into being in their current form! They are based on my own original idea and concept, which over time became popular and recognisable in Bulgaria! I make the metal frames myself by welding, and the paper I use is also handmade and comes from Nepal. Over the years, the designs have probably numbered in the hundreds, all born of my inspiration and imagination!

My motto is: Every lamp has its person, and every person has their lamp!"
